Simply Shrimply started in the Bronx with a single 10-gallon tank and a 10-year-old kid who couldn’t stop staring at it.

What began as curiosity quickly turned into something bigger. When my Corydoras catfish unexpectedly began breeding, I was fascinated. Watching tiny fry grow, carefully nurturing them through each stage, and eventually seeing them reach full adulthood sparked something that never faded. That moment turned a hobby into a lifelong passion.

Today, Simply Shrimply is a small, Bronx-based hobbyist operation with big dreams. Our goal is to become one of the most respected freshwater shrimp, betta, and nano fish breeders in NYC and across New York State. We focus on quality over quantity, carefully raising Caridina, Neocaridina, and bettas with attention to health, genetics, and long-term success in your aquarium.

We know what it feels like to fall in love with this hobby for the first time. The excitement of seeing new life. The pride in maintaining a thriving tank. The patience that turns into reward.
